Come join us for the Splash-n-Dash for the Homeless! An un-timed 5k where participants can expect to have fun and get wet! Participants will run or walk through a course filled with different fun water soaking stations and water arches.
The Splash-n-Dash for the Homeless benefits Families By Choice a non-profit that operates in the Terre Haute Community. Families by Choice provides transitional housing for homeless members of our community to help provide them with clean, sober, and warm housing as they help to prepare individuals to move into independent housing. Families By Choice is not associated with any other organizations for funding and operates strictly on donations from generous community members. The proceeds from Splash-n-Dash for the Homeless will go directly back to Families by Choice to help the homeless in our community get back on their feet in a productive way.
The Splash-n-Dash for the Homeless will take place in Hawthorn Park and will begin at the Dogwood Shelter where packet - pickup and race day registration will take place from 7:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. The 5k will then begin at 9:00 a.m.
Kids 5 and under can participate for free! (Although it will not include a t-shirt)
